Ed helps utility clients increase shareholder and customer value in complex and rapidly changing regulatory environments. Ed has helped numerous clients throughout North America develop and execute multi-billion dollar capital deployment strategies. He has over 20 years of utility experience including as a Commissioner with the Florida Public Service Commission, where he regulated investor owned utilities serving 19 million citizens with approximately 60,000 MW of generation. As a Commissioner, Ed helped develop innovative incentive mechanisms for asset optimization, wholesale electric sales, grid modernization, gas reserve investments as well as the accelerated replacement of aging infrastructure. Prior to being appointed to the commission, Ed worked as a professional engineer for over a decade designing complex utility infrastructure projects as well as managing a large water and wastewater utility.
