Apeksha Damania is a Consultant within the Life Science practice at Guidehouse, based in Trivandrum, India, who joined the team recently in June 2020. She is a result-driven scientist with 7+ years of research experience and a passion for solving problems associated with the unmet medical needs around the world.
Prior to Guidehouse, Apeksha was a postdoctoral research fellow at Aalto University, School of Science and Technology, Finland, where she spearheaded a project on targeted therapies for liver disease; utilizing the waterfall model of project management to handle the scientific, operational, and administrative functions of the project.
Apeksha holds a PhD in Biological Sciences and Bioengineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, where, along with a team of researchers from Kyushu University, Japan, she developed and patented a prototype of a bioartificial liver support for patients with acute liver failure.
