In 2020, Bill assumed leadership of Guidehouse Managed Services, which provides outsourcing services to the Health, Financial Services, Public, and Energy segments. He manages a global team with multiple service centers in the US and India.
Bill led the launch of the Children’s Health Consortium (CHC), a joint venture founded by Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and Guidehouse providing revenue cycle technologies and services to independent children’s hospital members nationwide. Bill is the chairman of the board for CHC, which helps children’s hospitals reduce costs and increase efficiency so they can devote more time and resources to clinical care and the patient and family experience.
Bill began his career at Guidehouse in the insurance practice, where he was responsible for the startup and operation of a claims administration business that focused on the processing of mass tort claims on behalf of defendant companies. In addition to running the claims administration business, Bill advised clients on claims data analysis; the allocation of costs to insurance coverage; and the development and implementation of claims processing procedures and systems. Bill has also served as an expert witness in numerous mass tort claims insurance coverage disputes.
