Corinna Klessmann (PhD) works as Director for Guidehouse in Berlin. She is an expert on renewable energy, power market integration and hydrogen policy. She has more than 20 years of experience with sustainable energy policy consultancy for governments, development organizations, NGOs and private companies. Corinna was the lead consultant for many key reforms of the German and European energy legislation, e.g., the introduction of renewable energy tenders in Germany (solar PV, onshore and offshore wind), different parts of the European Renewable Energy Directive and the preparation of European green hydrogen standards. Currently she is supporting the design of a support framework for green hydrogen in Germany. She also has work experience in North America, the MENA region, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Central Asia.
She holds a PhD in energy policy from Utrecht University and two Master’s Degrees from Technical University of Berlin (Energy Engineering and German Philology).
