Jack O’Meara is a director in the Advanced Solutions Cybersecurity practice and leads the Cyber Incident Response service offering. Jack advises and collaborates with clients to effectively prepare for and respond to cyber incidents, restore operations and develop and deliver cyber resilient solutions.
Jack brings over 30 years of cybersecurity risk management and operational experience working with various commercial companies and public sector agencies. Prior to joining Guidehouse, Jack recently spent 13 years as a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for SAIC, Leidos, CSC and DXC Technology, where he was responsible for day-to-day operational direction for all aspects of cybersecurity, regulatory compliance and IT risk management and the leadership and coordination of IT security staff and activities. These responsibilities included cybersecurity strategy, policies, plans and procedures development; information system security risk assessments; cybersecurity training and awareness campaigns; cybersecurity incident management and response; and disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
