Abhi Sharma, M.D., is a director in Guidehouse’s Health segment. For more than 15 years he has worked on growth and business turnaround strategy engagements for clients focusing on clinical and operational transformations. As a physician executive, Dr. Sharma specializes in access, clinical quality, and digital health strategy and has worked with some of the biggest and most complex commercial, federal, and state-owned provider systems in the country. Additionally, he is a chartered financial analyst and led financial turnaround and valuation engagements for provider systems and private owners across the U.S. He works extensively on clinical quality audits, digital health access, risk stratification strategy, physician enterprise management, and commercial due diligence engagements.
Dr. Sharma directed the design and implementation of care management and workforce optimization processes to enhance access and quality of care for the diabetic population in rural areas of Texas. He is an emergency physician, practicing medicine for nearly 20 years.
