Andy Tam is an associate director in Guidehouse’s global Energy practice. He has more than 9 years of experience working within power and utilities in North America, the Middle East and Asia.
Andy's experience spans projects with electric regulators, major generation/transmission/distribution utilities, and various other energy related public/private sector entities. Within these engagements, Andy was primarily focused on providing strategic advisory on grid modernization (microgrids, smart grids, distributed energy resources) and utility financial modeling (working capital, cost of service, revenue requirement, valuation). Through his experiences, Andy has worked with entities such as Natural Resources Canada (government), Hydro One Networks Inc. (one of North America’s largest regulated utilities), Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (multinational) and the United States Navy and Marine Corps (military).
