Deborah Uhrina is an associate director with the Healthcare practice. She has more than 30 years of extensive healthcare experience in revenue cycle management and operations, and specializes in revenue cycle process improvement and redesign in the areas of hospital and physician pre-access, patient access, patient accounting, and project management. Deborah specializes in developing and executing standardized revenue cycle management methodologies for process improvement/redesign. Specifically, her areas of expertise include physician credentialing, hospital and physician billing and follow up, vendor management, denials management, benchmarking and productivity implementation/management, strategic planning, system selection and implementation, and financial administration/budget management.
Prior to joining Guidehouse, Deborah was a director at the Cleveland Clinic for 15 years focusing on centralization and consolidation of 11 hospitals and over 3,000 physicians into a shared service model. She was also a member of the Cleveland Clinic Revenue Cycle Epic design team responsible for validating the future build of scheduling, pre-access, patient access, and patient accounting.
