Rich Wilson is a director in the Health segment and has 25+ years of healthcare experience focusing on clinical informatics, data and operations. He has a passion for leveraging technology to transform healthcare, improve patient outcomes and strengthen the clinician-patient relationship.
Rich is a veteran having retired from the U.S. Army as a Colonel. In his 25-year military career he served in a variety of assignments around the world. Most notably, Rich led the Solution Delivery Division of the Defense Health Agency (DHA). The DHA operates the Department of Defense’s global Military Health System (MHS). He managed a $800m portfolio of enterprise applications (e.g. electronic health record (EHR), patient portal, medical logistics, etc.), business intelligence and data solutions and clinical training/integration activities. Rich was also a key leader in the MHS’s EHR modernization to the Cerner solution. Prior to coming to the DHA, Rich served as the Chief Medical Information Officer and the Chief Information Officer for Army Medicine
