Pavel is a partner, specializing in strategy, process improvement and application of data science and emerging technologies in healthcare and public health. While focusing on serving the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the areas of public health surveillance, environmental health and non-communicable diseases, he also supports pharmaceutical companies with data science applications.
Pavel has worked across multiple programs within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to include responses to emerging public health threats, obtaining ISO20K certification of a datacenter, operation of an enterprise email system and standup of a working capital fund. He began his consulting career enhancing business viability of media outlets in emerging markets on behalf of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and advising UPS on healthcare benefits administration.
