Taimur serves as Guidehouse’s Digital and Emerging Technology Practice Lead, leading business capture and project delivery for Cloud, Application Development, and IT Modernization projects across the firm. With nearly two decades experience in the development and implementation of applications and mission-critical systems across public sector and commercial industries, he leads Guidehouse’s Cloud practice, working collaboratively with leaders from across the Advanced Solutions and the industry segments. Taimur leads the vendor alliance development with Amazon, Microsoft, and Google for Cloud platforms, along with leading Staff Enablement through skills development via technical training paths and certifications. He also serves as Guidehouse’s chief Cloud Architect and a Senior Advisor on Software Development Life Cycle projects using waterfall and Agile development methods (RUP/AUP/Scrum) and process improvement frameworks (CMMI/ITIL). He facilitated the Agile Transformation Open Talk at SXSW 2018, and was a speaker on a Blockchain panel for the Government Technology Digital Summit 2019.
Prior to joining Guidehouse, Taimur worked at Deloitte and Booz Allen Hamilton as a Technical Program Manager responsible for architecting and managing technical solutions for public sector clients, and leading major internal corporate initiatives through planning, staffing, organizing, and delivering simplified end products via cross-functional and complex teams of internal and sub-contractor staff. Taimur holds a Master’s in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s in Computer Sciences from University of Punjab (Pakistan) and holds more than 10 relevant Technology and Management certifications. He has worked with customers in North America and Asia on technology and strategy projects to support healthcare, financial services, and national defense initiatives.
