Hector Artze is a Partner in Guidehouse’s Energy, Sustainability and Infrastructure (ES&I). His professional career spans more than 30 years in the electrical utility and energy fields. Hector is the ES&I’s global growth lead for energy transformation and infrastructure resiliency. He assists energy, utility, and public sector clients plan for the transition to Net-Zero carbon emissions; build infrastructure resiliency to mitigate the impact of natural disasters and climate change; modernize their utility systems; reduce the cost of operations and maintenance through process automation, optimization, and technology; and manage asset investments.
Prior to consulting, Hector worked for 14 years at Florida Power and Light, a major investor-owned electric utility in Florida focusing on distribution operations, reliability, emergency restoration processes, evaluation and implementation of operation technologies, process and quality improvement, C/I accounts management, as well as electrical distribution engineering and construction. Hector is a Certified Energy Manager.
