Gregory Bitz is a director in Guidehouse’s Aerospace and Defense practice focused on supporting the U.S. Army Financial Management Command's (USAFMCOM) Financial Audit and Compliance(FAC) Directorate. He concurrently, provides DoD accounting and auditing expertise to a team supporting the Marine Corps Logistics Command’s initial years of audit of the Marine Corps Working Capital Fund. Gregory is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Government Financial Manager, and Certified Defense Financial Manager. Over 49 years of professional experience leading large scale transformations within Defense organizations and driving the analysis and execution of programs focused on audit and internal controls, financial management and compliance, strategic planning, business process modeling, enterprise risk management, and program management. A multitude of experiences have afforded him extensive opportunities to work as a peer with General Officers, Flag Officers and SES on their most pressing issues, translating strategic intent into results. Led organizations and teams of every size in DoD managing budgets up to $600 million. Represented the DoD on the Capital Hill and served on the White House Y2K task-force working group.
