Grace Brasington is a partner in the firm’s Financial Services Advisory and Compliance segment. A seasoned financial services executive with over 30 years experience in risk, compliance, and consumer finance, Grace offers unique insights on how to implement emerging technologies in alignment with an organization’s business objectives. She currently specializes in leveraging machine learning and AI technologies to solve critical regulatory challenges, such as combating financial crime and fraud, regulatory change management, and modernizing back office and consumer-facing operational platforms.
Having served in executive roles at financial institutions, service providers and technology platform companies, Grace is able to navigate the intersection of new technologies and the needs of senior executives, focusing on the practical implications for clients’ business goals.
Prior to joining Guidehouse, Grace served as Vice President and Global Leader for Risk and Compliance in IBM Watson’s Financial Services division. In that role, she drove the design, development and delivery of AI technology solutions to leverage machine learning, data and analytics to improve efficiency and effectiveness in compliance and risk management. Grace has also held executive roles as Chief Risk Officer at a $3B mortgage technology and services company, Chief Compliance Officer at a Top 10 consumer lending institution, and Director of the Southeast Risk Advisory practice at KPMG.
