John is a director in the Defense practice, focusing on financial management for federal clients. John has more than 22 years of experience helping clients improve their internal controls and remediate audit findings, as well as, performing a variety of federal financial statement audit and other attestation engagements.
For the past 11 years John led projects supporting the Department of the Navy and Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller). Prior to that John led the first-ever full-scope financial statement audit of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, resulting in their first ever unmodified audit opinion. John’s other clients have included various components of the Department of Justice, the Department of Agriculture, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the National Archives and Records Administration, the U.S. House of Representatives, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the Administrative Offices of the U. S. Courts, the International Monetary Fund, the Department of the Interior, the Department of The Treasury and a confidential federal agency.
