Joe Sakendu Jones is an associate director at Guidehouse in the Advanced Analytics & Intelligent Automation practice. He brings nearly a decade of experience in delivering advisory services for clients across the Department of Defense, and multilateral and commercial organizations. He has led data analytics advisory efforts to clients across different solution areas, including financial management, audit readiness, cyber risk and metrics reporting, and business process automation.
Joe’s advisory effort has targeted in delivering financial and audit readiness solutions, to enable clients in demonstrating assurance regarding completeness and traceability of business events recorded in their financial or accounting systems. He has also led the development of solutions to support clients in improving their cybersecurity posture, as well as development and reporting of cyber metrics to enable automated monitoring of cyber hygiene. Joe earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and African studies from the University of Arizona, a master’s in international relations from Syracuse University, and an MBA from Hofstra University. Joe immigrated to the United States from Sierra Leone in 2001 after being granted asylum.
