Michael Pita is a director in the Energy practice where he brings more than 21 years of international experience in technical management consultancy, executive and commercial leadership and go-to-market strategy. In the last 12 years, Michael has built businesses focused on complex energy transformation and cost challenges in the private and public sectors, delivering energy project feasibility, design & implementation, asset financing, corporate sustainability strategy, energy efficiency and cost optimization solutions. This covers many technical and advisory solutions such as on-site generation (CHP, renewable, waste-to-energy), thermal process heat recovery, ORC, compressed air, electrical plant optimization, battery, EV transition, circular economies, abatement and Artificial Intelligence.
Currently, Michael works with large industrial corporations, manufacturing businesses and regional clusters on energy transformation and carbon reduction programs, delivering technology strategy and implementation of both proven and innovative energy technologies. This includes CO2 science based targets, corporate PPA's, green energy sourcing, value-chain decarbonization and M+V. Additionally, he has a range of experience within asset and off-balance-sheet funding for energy and sustainability projects.
