Defence Leaders' Forum: Improving Outputs

Guidehouse London Office, UK

Guidehouse will host the Defence Leaders' Forum: Improving Outputs on 9 October. The theme, the same for less, more for the same and more for more, will focus on the importance of driving up UK defence outputs in a period of increased spending.

As we know from experience, increasing funding does not necessarily lead to better results. Confidence that the extra funds will improve UK defence outputs will undoubtedly influence decisions in the ongoing Strategic Defence Review. Despite the additional funding, it remains essential for UK defence to extract the maximum value from its assets, including availability of its key platforms and readiness of its force elements and strategic capabilities.

Throughout the evening, you will hear both internal and external perspectives on availability and readiness. You will also have an opportunity to share your thoughts on the ambitions, opportunities, and realities of improving UK defence outputs.
