Experts are collaborating on outreach, program management, and more

Guidehouse has partnered with the US Census Bureau in its efforts to engage every household in the once-every-ten-years count of everyone living in the United States. Through communications outreach, public relations, and program management, our team of experts is proud to play a role in mobilizing public participation in this year’s decennial census.

About the 2020 Census
The 2020 Census counts every person living in the United States and five of its US territories. The count is mandated by the Constitution and conducted by the US Census Bureau. Each home receives an invitation to respond to a short questionnaire, which can be completed online, by phone, or by mail.

Why it Matters
The results of the 2020 Census will shape the future of communities for years to come. The census provides critical data that lawmakers use to allocate funding for critical services like healthcare, education, and infrastructure, and that businesses use to plan for economic growth. The results of the census also determine the number of seats each state will have in the US House of Representatives, and they are used to draw congressional and state legislative districts.

Be Sure to Participate
Responses to the census are confidential and protected by law. A complete and accurate count is critical for you and your community. If you haven’t already, visit 2020census.gov to respond today and shape your future.
