We are Guidehouse. We help commercial and public clients address their most important challenges with innovative solutions that advance conventional thinking and create value for their stakeholders, build trust in society and shape a new future.
At Guidehouse, our CSR mission is to engage, inspire, and empower our professionals to solve big problems and to make a positive impact on our communities where we work and live. We lead the way forward by guiding, supporting, and nurturing our communities. It is a responsibility and a privilege to use our skills and experience to support the communities that support us. As industry leaders and dedicated innovators, our business is founded on the idea that no problem is too large or complex to solve. Our passionate team combats some of our communities’ most pressing challenges through active volunteering and thoughtful giving; advising non-profits through board participation and offering pro-bono consulting services; and promoting environmental sustainable practices and solutions. Our efforts at Guidehouse extend well beyond our client work and far past our office walls.
Guidehouse’s Inclusion & Diversity Program is committed to fostering a progressive work environment that creates awareness, supports an open exchange of ideas, and encourages a collaborative culture. It allows our professionals to grow their internal and external networks, develop a greater affinity for different experiences and enhance cultural competency—a vital leadership skill in today’s global business environment. Our inclusion initiative helps us all more deeply understand and appreciate the needs of our colleagues and clients. Guidehouse recognizes that its employees bring different interests, goals, and perspectives to the Inclusion & Diversity Program.
We have created Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) that provide all employees companywide with virtual and office-based opportunities to connect to the Program and with each other.
Guidehouse is committed to setting science-based emissions reduction targets through the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi). Through its commitment to SBTi, Guidehouse joins other leading companies that agree to set emissions reduction targets in line with climate science. We were instrumental in developing the Sectoral Decarbonization Approach (SDA) for SBTi and serve as a member of the Technical Advisory Group led by the Science Based Target initiative. Guidehouse has also joined the World Business Council for Sustainable Development and has committed to purchasing 100% renewable energy for its offices around the world. Most recently, Guidehouse received a “B-” on the CDP Report and have plans to continue to improve our rating.
Guidehouse seeks to identify, promote, and facilitate sustainable business activities to improve the environmental impact of our firm and our professionals. We know that collective change is driven by individual actions and must be part of our everyday operations. Through firmwide coordination and local office involvement, we strive to efficiently leverage our shared resources, raise awareness of environmentally responsible practices, reduce our carbon footprint, and promote a culture of environmental stewardship.
Our abatement efforts are currently focused on three categories:
At Guidehouse, we strongly believe that to address the diverse needs of a global marketplace, we must ensure the demographics of our suppliers reflect those of our clients and the communities in which we do business. We are committed to advancing diversity and inclusion in all aspects of our business, while delivering innovative and cost-effective solutions to our clients. Through our supplier diversity process, we actively seek diverse suppliers and provide them an opportunity to participate in fulfilling Guidehouse’s internal procurement needs and partner with us on client engagements.
Supplier diversity is critical to our firm’s overall success, as a diverse supplier base helps Guidehouse access the widest range of talents in the marketplace. Building upon the supplier diversity process initiative launched in 2011, in 2018 Guidehouse formally created a Supplier Diversity Program. Key components and goals of our program include:
Development and maintenance of a curated list of diverse suppliers
Production of reports summarizing Guidehouse’s spend with diverse suppliers
Creating a greater awareness of the program with targeted suppliers
Increasing the number of accredited diverse suppliers utilized by Guidehouse
In order to do business under our supplier diversity program, prospective suppliers must be certified as a Minority Business Enterprise, Woman-Owned Business Enterprise, Disability Owned Business Enterprise, LGBT-Owned Business, Veteran-Owned Business, or U.S. federal government–categorized Small Business. Proof of current certification from an accredited federal, state, or regional agency is required.
Some of the benefits of partnering with us will include:
Preferred selection as a subcontractor/partner in client engagements
Preferred consideration in Guidehouse’s internal procurement program
Increased visibility among decision-makers within Guidehouse for supplier diversity needs
We are looking for industry-specific skill sets and capabilities to support clients in energy, financial institutions, healthcare, and life sciences.
Firms interested in doing business with us, please send an overview of your capabilities to email@example.com. A member of the Guidehouse procurement team will contact you.
