Gateway to Guidehouse

Gateway to Guidehouse Life Sciences is an immersive three-day program aimed at providing advanced degree candidates an inside view into Guidehouse’s Life Sciences (LS) practice.

Candidates selected for the program will experience what consulting is like at Guidehouse and learn core consulting skills through a simulated Life Sciences project. Candidates will also have the opportunity to network with Guidehouse subject matter experts, including those with an advanced degree background.

The 2025 program will take place July 16 – 18 in Chicago, IL. The application portal is now open and will close February 28, 2025. Candidates are encouraged to apply early as participation offers will be extended on a rolling basis.

Eligibility

Graduate Degree

Enrolled in an accredited graduate degree program (e.g., PhD, PharmD, MD, MBA, MPH, MHA, MS, JD) in Summer 2025 with anticipated graduation by Summer 2026 or currently a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow.

Interest

Demonstrated interest in strategy consulting / business and the Life Sciences (e.g., pharmaceutical, biotech, MedTech companies)

Skills

Strong critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, and oral and written communication skills.

In-Person Attendance

Available to attend the in-person Gateway to Guidehouse Life Sciences program in Chicago.

Application Timeline & Process Overview - Application portal is now open. Interested candidates must submit their application before 11:59PM ET on February 28, 2025. Candidates will receive invitations to interview for the program on a rolling basis and will proceed to one Behavioral and one Case Interview with Guidehouse LS team members. Candidates will be informed as to status of their candidacy no later than March 2025. Candidates are encouraged to apply early as participation offers will also be extended on a rolling basis.
