Why Campuses Are Choosing to Own the Solution, not the Equipment
Watch a replay of Sustainable Energy as a Service: Why Campuses Are Choosing to Own the Solution, not the Equipment. This webinar looks at how Queens University of Charlotte (NC) used sustainable energy as a service (SEaaS). To better serve their 2,000 students, Queens worked with Metrus Energy on a $1.78 million upgrade to multiple buildings, including new chillers, LED lighting, water-efficiency measures, and an updated building management system. The SEaaS model enabled Queens to address a range of issues including energy costs, sustainability, and the comfort and quality of its campus environment—with no upfront cost. In fact, the project will generate annual savings of nearly $200,000 and reduce CO2 by 1,444 tons annually.
