In a classroom in Tamil Nadu, India, a 6-year-old girl wearing a new hearing aid raises her hand. For the first time, she doesn’t have to strain to hear her teacher.
At an airport terminal in Washington, D.C., a Veteran steps into a tunnel of applause, smiling when a stranger leans forward to thank him for his service. Across the country, a mother opens a bag of groceries and exhales, letting go of worry she had been carrying all week.
These moments may unfold oceans apart, yet each begins the same way: with someone choosing to show up.
In 2025, Guidehouse employees made that choice repeatedly. We offered our time, skills, and most importantly, our compassion. Together, we uplifted communities around the world, supported families, and ignited sparks of hope.
Our employees worked alongside nonprofits worldwide to boost community access to food, housing, and healthcare. In Raleigh, North Carolina, colleagues gathered shoulder-to-shoulder around assembly tables to pack 4,320 meals with Rise Against Hunger. Each box of rice, soy, and nutrient packets became a lifeline that would travel thousands of miles to families in the Philippines.
As the holiday season approached in the U.S. capital region, employees helped prepare and distribute meals to families facing food insecurity. What began as a routine process of loading boxes into car trunks quickly turned into something much deeper.

Volunteers in Huntsville, Alabama, partnered with Habitat for Humanity to help build and finish homes—laying sod, insulating walls, and installing windows and locks. By taking on these tasks, they made affordable, safe housing feel within reach for many families.
“There were handwritten notes from future homeowners on the studs, thanking everyone who built their home. Later, when some of them visited the site to share their gratitude, the work felt deeply personal and undeniably real.” – Brian Griffin, Guidehouse employee
Our teams also supported health and wellness causes like blood drives and awareness walks for breast cancer, HIV, and multiple sclerosis. These events served as safe spaces for healing and connection, where employees stood in solidarity with friends and loved ones personally affected by these challenges.
Sometimes showing up meant something as simple as baking cookies. In Chicago and Indiana, employees prepared homemade treats for families staying at Ronald McDonald House, offering comfort to parents and caregivers spending long days by their children’s hospital beds.
Several time zones over, colleagues in the United Arab Emirates participated in the ADCB Pink Run to honor breast cancer survivors, and teams in India partnered with INDIA NGO to donate 50 hearing aid machines to low-income students. For many of these children, improved hearing opened new opportunities and made learning more accessible.

When young people have the tools they need to succeed, entire communities rise. Throughout the year, employees championed education through backpack drives, school supply donations, and hands-on school building upgrades. In Washington, D.C., colleagues filled backpacks with notebooks, pencils, and crayons for elementary age students, each completed backpack symbolizing a quiet vote of confidence in a child’s new school year.
Teams in India sponsored a new school block in Alapakkam, Chennai, constructing three fully equipped classrooms designed for meaningful learning. They also collaborated with Kanal NGO to bring a solar power system, UV-purified drinking water, and a 20-device modern computer lab to Nellimood New Higher Secondary School. More than 3,700 students now learn in a safer, more sustainable setting and enjoy better access to technology that will positively shape their futures for years to come.
Thriving communities depend on healthy places where people can recharge and connect, including trails, parks, and green spaces. In Germany, employees volunteered with Naturpark Rheinland to enhance an educational tree trail featuring more than 50 species. By installing informational posts, they transformed the path into a richer learning experience for visitors.
In North Carolina, one employee noticed litter collecting along the American Tobacco Trail during his regular runs. He decided to act, rallying colleagues to meet up and beautify the trail.

Throughout 2025, our employees honored Veterans through acts of gratitude and connection. At Dulles International Airport, teams welcomed more than 200 Veterans arriving on Honor Flights. Our commitment further came to life through our partnership with D.C. United of Major League Soccer and the United Service Organizations during Family Field Day.
Employees and their loved ones assembled 2,000 care packages for deploying service members—small reminders of home wrapped in heartfelt appreciation.
As part of a cherished annual tradition, employees nationwide participated in Wreaths Across America, placing wreaths at Veterans’ gravesites. From Los Angeles to Dallas-Fort Worth, these quiet acts of remembrance echoed a shared respect for service and sacrifice.
Some of the year’s most transformative work happened through the expertise our people donated to causes they care about. Across nearly a dozen engagements, employees contributed 3,000 pro bono hours—strengthening nonprofits through strategic planning, data analytics, operations governance, financial management, and more. These projects helped organizations build resilience and expand their abilities to serve communities.
“You never know how far just two or three hours of your time can go in creating long-term impact for organizations that may otherwise not get this level of expertise and aid. They deliver life-changing services, and I feel lucky to play even a small part.” – John Zolet, Guidehouse employee and Pro Bono Lead
The program also offered growth opportunities for employees, particularly our early-career team members, to lead, collaborate with colleagues in various regions, and apply their skills to real-world challenges.
Our impact in 2025 wasn’t defined by a single moment or milestone. It was shaped by hundreds of individual acts of compassion, each made with generosity, purpose, and heart. Together, these choices tell a powerful story: one of people empowering one another, of skills turned into service, and of a shared belief that meaningful change begins with action.
Employees in London helped beautify the gardens at Richard House Children’s Hospice, creating a more welcoming space for families.
To support federal workers during Thanksgiving, we joined Giant in packing meals for more than 8,000 people.
Teams across the United States participated in Wreaths Across America during the holiday season.
Our teams in India donated hearing aid devices to students in low-income communities, making learning more accessible.
