Guidehouse’s Shannon White Appointed to American Red Cross Northern Virginia Board of Directors

MCLEAN, VA — August 14, 2025 — Guidehouse, a global AI-led professional services firm, proudly announces that Shannon White, Partner and Leader of the firm’s Defense & Security segment, has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the Northern Virginia Chapter. White succeeds John Saad, President of Guidehouse, who has been named the Red Cross Northern Virginia Chapter’s first-ever Board Member Emeritus.

The Northern Virginia Chapter Board of Directors provides strategic leadership and oversight to ensure the Red Cross effectively delivers its mission across Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax County, Prince William County, and Loudoun counties. Board members play a critical role in securing resources, guiding disaster response and preparedness, and supporting service members, veterans, and their families.

White brings to the Board a deep understanding of national security and mission-focused transformation. At Guidehouse, she leads the Defense & Security segment, which delivers mission-critical optimization, technology modernization, and financial management solutions to U.S. diplomatic, intelligence, law enforcement, homeland security, and defense agencies. Under her leadership, she has helped shape the firm’s strategy and initiatives in some of the country’s most complex and regulated environments.
