Guidehouse Financial Services Segment Announces New Leadership to Accelerate Market Growth

Washington, DC – October 27, 2020 – Guidehouse Financial Services Segment (FS) continues to realize the benefits of the combined public and commercial entity, almost one year into the merger of Navigant Inc. and Guidehouse. To accelerate growth with focus on strategic business areas, FS has developed and announced a series of newly created leadership roles.

“We are excited to announce this new leadership structure, more importantly, how it will benefit our client base,” said Ellen Zimiles, Head of Guidehouse’s FS business segment. “While many are contracting, we find ourselves expanding. It is critical to meet the growing needs of the market with the right set of priorities and experience."  

The following represents recently announced leadership enhancements: 

  • Paul Phaneuf, an accomplished executive in business development, will assume the new role of FS Segment Growth Officer, where he will drive top line growth, ensure realization on acquisition investments, and ensure pipeline growth and accuracy.
  • Sherlonda Goode-Jones, with extensive experience providing advisory services to public sector clients for over 22 years was named the new Public Sector Financial Services Practice Leader where she will drive strategic growth opportunities, refine the practice’s operating model, and foster opportunity for practice members.
  • Bill Lewis, who has been leading the efforts of our Public Sector Financial Services practice, will transition to a new role designed to drive business development and growth across our commercial and public practices.  He will also remain involved in client service to several important clients of the firm.  
  • Alma Angotti, a recognized expert in anti-money laundering (AML), combatting the financing of terrorism (CFT) and economic sanctions compliance is elevated to the new role of Global Legislative & Regulatory Risk Leader, focused on creating segment-wide rapid response to emerging legislative and regulatory challenges.
  • Tim Mueller, with extensive experience in process transformation and technology implementation takes on the new role of FS Segment Technology Leader where he will develop and execute a vendor partnership strategy and identify opportunities to facilitate investment in current/new tools and solutions.
  • Samit Khare steps into the new role of Technology Risk Leader, focusing on improving the segment’s technology risk management by identifying quality improvement opportunities, while mitigating potential technology risk.
