Brett Feldman Appointed to US Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Advisory Committee

Feldman will advise on strategic programs and policies

Brett Feldman, research director at Guidehouse Insights, has been appointed to the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Advisory Committee (REEEAC).

Feldman was appointed by US Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross and will join 38 other private sector representatives who will provide advice on the development and administration of programs and policies to expand the competitiveness of US exports of renewable energy and energy efficiency products and services.

Feldman, who focuses on demand-side management programs and their implications for the global power industry, will serve a two-year term on the committee, which was established in 2010.

“It is essential for the United States to remain a global leader in the innovation, commercialization, and production of diverse technologies,” Ross said. “The foreign competitive challenges confronting American companies are immense, and the recommendations of the REEEAC will be critical in our continued efforts to ensure global markets are free, fair, and reciprocal.”
