Guidehouse discusses how financial institutions are tracking their investment and lending emissions to reduce their carbon footprints
Guidehouse has partnered with White House Chronicle to produce a twelve-part television series featuring interviews with industry leaders on the overarching topics of climate change, resiliency, sustainability, and new technologies.
In episode eight, Guidehouse’s Chris Snyder, director, and Amalgamated Bank’s Ivan Frishberg, director of impact policy, discussed with host Llewellyn King how global banks are working toward a lower carbon economy.
During the conversation, the pair explained how their organizations are working together with other global financial institutions through the Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials (PCAF) to align financed emissions with the Paris Climate Agreement. They also shared how PCAF is building out data to help financial organizations effectively administer sustainability linked loans.
