Supporting the Fashion Industry's Sustainability Goals

Guidehouse will work with the Fashion Pact on building renewable energy capacity

Guidehouse has partnered with 12 fashion companies to accelerate the expansion of renewable energy generation, advising on building the capacity to reach the goal of adding more than 100,000 MWh per year of wind or solar power generation to the grid in Europe.

Under the Collective Virtual Power Purchase Agreement (CVPPA), the organizations part of the Fashion Pact  — Capri Holdings, Farfetch, Ferragamo, Kering, Prada, PVH Corp, Ralph Lauren, Bally, Tapestry, Under Armour, Zegna, and Zimmermann — have committed to procuring renewable electricity with support from Guidehouse advising on the best-suited developer to build the planned capacity.

Launched in 2019 by French president Emmanuel Macron and led by Kering chairman and CEO François-Henri Pinault, the Fashion Pact is a global initiative of companies in the fashion and textile industry as well as their suppliers and distributors working to achieve environmental goals of stopping global warming, restoring biodiversity, and protecting the oceans.
