The State of Identity in Government

Our government is responsible for putting in place guardrails to manage specific threats to our financial lives, such as those caused by economic fluctuations, health crises, and new technologies, particularly investment instruments. These all have one thing in common: identity use and the corresponding fraud issues. During this session at Money2020, experts outline the initiatives around identity and fraud prevention within federal and state governments, progress made to date, and how the government can take a page from the financial industries’ playbook.
