Health System Executives, Guidehouse Discuss Health Equity During a Pandemic on NAHSE Panel

Guidehouse is proud to have helped the National Association of Health Services Executives (NAHSE), a non-profit association of Black healthcare executives, kick off its 2020 Virtual Educational Conference, Leadership in the Midst of a Pandemic, earlier this month.

Scott McIntyre NAHSE

Guidehouse CEO Scott McIntyre celebrated our long-standing relationship with NAHSE by delivering the opening remarks for the conference. Scott speaks to the unprecedented challenges leaders are facing, “leading through both the concomitant economic crisis and the racial injustice and inequalities that, while not being new, are nonetheless appropriately amplified today and underscoring racial inequities across our country and within healthcare.”

Guidehouse Partner and NAHSE Board Member Remi Kajogbola moderated a panel on leadership during COVID-19 with a trio of the nation’s most notable health system C-suite executives:

  • Wright L. Lassiter III, president and CEO, Henry Ford Health System
  • Marvin O’Quinn, president and COO, Commonspirit
  • Eugene A. Woods, president and CEO, Atrium Health

Guidehouse Partner and Payer/Provider Consulting Division Leader David Burik joined the health system panelists in discussing health equity, digital health, consumer engagement, and leadership in a post-COVID-19 reality.
