WashingtonExec has named Jan-Willem Bode, partner in Guidehouse’s Energy, Sustainability, and Infrastructure segment, one of its Top 10 Climate Change Execs to Watch in 2022.
The award highlights industry executives dedicated to and focused on combating climate change, driving sustainability, and using their expertise to create an equitable clean energy future.
Bode, who leads ES&I’s Investors and Large Corporations practice, has found innovative ways to help organizations decarbonize their supply chains while building enterprise value.
“Only by collaboration will we be able to truly move toward a net-zero economy,” Bode said. “It is no longer about telling each other what to do; it is only about doing, and doing it together.”
In 2022, Bode will continue focus on strategic target setting, asset allocation and investment support, procurement of renewable energy, and the implementation and management of supplier engagement programs toward lower carbon emissions.
“Jan-Willem’s expertise in energy and sustainable finance has helped our clients to build truly resilient organizations through innovative financing, collaboration and a commitment to decarbonization,” said Jan Vrins, leader of Guidehouse’s Energy, Sustainability and Infrastructure segment. “He has been instrumental in positioning Guidehouse as the leading sustainability advisory in North America and Europe, and in driving sustainability to the benefit of our clients’ business and their communities.”
